Based on product structure, they are divided into conventional circular cross-belt sorters, double-layer cross-belt sorters with varying track sizes, and single-track double-layer cross-belt sorters.


  • Conventional loop Cross-Belt Sorting Machine: Can achieve single-layer and multi-layer configurations. Multi-layer configurations have a height difference of 1200mm between layers, with each layer operating independently.
  • Double-Layer Cross-Belt Sorting Machine with Varying Track Size: The height difference between upper and lower layers is 800mm. The upper track configuration is simplified, relying on the lower layer's operation to assist the upper layer.
  • Single-Layer Double-Layer Cross-Belt Sorting Machine: The height difference between upper and lower layers is only 600mm, requiring only one layer for power and communication to achieve double-layer sorting.

Based on the size of the goods that can be sorted, they are divided into small-item sorting systems and mixed-size sorting systems.


  • Small-item Sorting Machine: Also known as a conventional item sorting system, it can sort packages with a maximum size of 600*400*400mm.

Scanning supports two modes: top-mounted scanning and loop top scanning; Top-mounted scanning: Packages pass through the top-mounted station and undergo scanning, weighing, buffering, and acceleration in sequence. Combined with optimized algorithms, this significantly improves weighing accuracy and code reading rate; Loop top scanning: After completing placement, weighing, buffering, and acceleration on the top-mounted station, packages enter the loop for scanning. This segmented operation effectively reduces package mis-sorting.

Cross-belt sorting machine unloading system: The cross-belt system receives packages from the supply station and, according to the WCS unloading plan, delivers the packages to the designated drop-off position for a throwing action. The main controller PLC of the cross-belt unloading system controls the linear motor, measures its speed, calculates the trolley position, handles communication with 20-30 supply stations and the loop trolley PLCs, coordinates the loading and unloading of packages, and ensures rapid communication between stations. The task is heavy, but the PLC executes efficiently, and the controller can complete the control in a very short cycle.
